+ What is CampusConnect?

CampusConnect is a student peer community that connects university applicants with each other, with current students, and with graduates from their course. It is a place where students help each other navigate the tricky steps of choosing the right college, university, or course, accommodation, etc.. based on shared experience and collaboration.. Watch our short video to learn more.

+ How is CampusConnect different from other peer-to-peer platforms?

CampusConnect is the only platform that allows applicants to connect with fellow applicants. This means that, as well as having their questions answered by staff and ambassadors, they’re able to form friendships with peers from their course. Read this article for more on applicant community building.

+ How does the process work for applicants?

Our team will provide you with everything you need for a smooth applicant onboarding process.

  • Applicants receive a link to join the university-specific CampusConnect platform, usually as part of their university offer email.
  • They then create an account and download the app (or use the browser version).
  • Then it’s time to join groups, search for peers and start their journey to your university!

+ Doesn’t that create more work for busy university staff?

No, quite the opposite! Through our monitored app, university staff can leverage student ambassadors to answer questions or signpost applicants. This avoids staff dealing with the same questions over and over again. Also, the ‘Guides’ feature acts as a one-stop shop for storing all important information and updates that applicants may need.

+ What can students do on the app?

The app has 5 main components:

  • Guides: University staff upload all the necessary information for incoming students’ registration and arrival.
  • Connections: Students can search for peers from their course or country and chat 1:1, building friendships before they arrive.
  • Map: An interactive map of your university city lets students explore the campus and surrounding area from afar.
  • Profile: Students create their profile to introduce themselves to their peers. This also allows our team to facilitate connections.
  • Groups: University staff can choose groups based on subject, home country, societies or bespoke groups for mature learners, student ambassadors or staff. Selected Ambassadors will spark up conversations and help to create a buzzing community amongst applicants!
