CampusConnect Community Ambassadors

What is a Community Ambassador?

A CampusConnect Community Ambassador is someone who provides the vital guidance and support to incoming students and champions the university experience. You will be a helping hand to these students while making them feel at ease through their university journey. Being a Community Ambassador at CampusConnect is so much more than just answering queries that incoming students have. We want you to really bond with the students, make them feel as if they are already a part of the university community and get them excited about starting their Uni journey.

Here you will learn the invaluable communication and mentorship skills to advise and reassure students.

  • Be honest, authentic and creative

  • Be pro-active rather than reactive

  • Be open and welcoming to new students

  • Never leave a question unanswered

Adele’s Top Tip

Put yourself in the mind frame of your first year at Uni. Think about what would you have liked to know before starting and pass on your knowledge to the students.
