Are your ambassadors guiding community conversion?

About this event

WHY

Applicant community generation is a fundamental part of a recruitment and admissions conversion strategy. However, student ambassador programmes often don’t recognise the valuable contribution ambassadors can provide as community builders. Ambassadors are frequently positioned as a type of semi-staff, relaying information and details to prospective student queries. This is understandably part of their role, but it does nothing to foster that all important sense of student community and belonging that impacts subsequent progression and ultimate success. There is a tremendous opportunity for universities to restructure their programmes to provide their ambassadors with the tools and skillset to become student community builders.

WHAT

Join CampusConnect for a 75 minute workshop designed to help student recruitment and admissions teams design their ambassador programmes to support much stronger applicant communities in 2023.

In this practical workshop, you will:

  • Discover how your ambassadors can generate much strong community and connection.

  • Learn how you can support ambassadors as your ‘community builders’.

  • Consider how your university community space can be designed for maximum value.

WHO

This workshop is designed for teams working in marketing and recruitment, admissions, applicant conversion, student experience, marketing and digital student communications.
